Upgrading Nintex Workflows to World-Class




Nintex is by far the best workflow system in SharePoint 2013; but I’d like to suggest some things that would make it more world-class—best-in-breed for workflows. I have outlined the shortcomings of both SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio Workflows in an earlier article. My focus in this piece is how to improve on the good.

Confessions of a Computer Programmer in a Cloistered Monastery


As the New Year arrives and amid my resolution making, it seems fitting to cast a gaze on completed journeys of the past. Reflecting on 40-years of IT jobs, by far my strangest programming assignment concerned a small cloistered monastery in Irondale Alabama called "Our Lady of the Angels."
